Phoenix Childcare is housed in a beautifully restored barn conversion and operates on 2 floors. Upstairs is our cosy ‘Little Cubs’ room, which caters for babies from 3 mths up to toddlers approx 3 years old. Downstairs is the home of the older children, the 'Tigers' who are preparing for the transition to school.

The Little Cubs room
This warm and friendly environment provides sensory opportunities for developing bodies and inquiring minds. We are strong believers in learning through messy play, such as Jelly play, gloop, play dough, water and sand. Children are given the opportunity to explore the outside in the morning and afternoons.

The Tigers room
Here there is emphasis on more structured play in readiness for school. The 6 focussed areas of learning outlined in the Early Years Foundation Stage are evident and free-flow to the garden is encouraged.

We are very proud of our huge outdoor play area, where all the children are given the opportunity to explore and enjoy ‘bigger’ experiences as well as learning about their environment and how to look after it.

As we are able to use other facilities within Gaudet Luce Golf Club, there will be additional special events for both children and adults to enjoy. These range from regular classes such as baby massage and baby signing and Pilates for adults to parenting classes and groups, social events and a Golf Academy for our 3-5 year olds - remember, Tiger Woods started at 3.
